Chantel - our first Kona Triathlete!

Chantel Coetzer Bierbaumer was our first regular Havering Tri member to race at the Ironman world championship in October... This is the pinnacle of long distance triathlon racing and is a monumental achievement for Chantel, who qualified by winning her age group at Ironman Lanzarote in May.

The race was back in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii for the first time since 2019, due to the pandemic.
